You will love our purpose-built Farm Park, Cafe and Gallery which opened in July 2005. This family business is 100% NZ owned and operated. Wai ariki is set amidst spectacular mountain views and the animals are displayed in a clean, relaxed and peaceful environment on 2 acres of sheltered parkland surrounding the cafe.

Meet the nicest, friendliest and most interesting farm and exotic animals for you to enjoy and hand feed. Ground led treks and lead rides for children 24 mnths & up, and beginner treks for adults. The Wai ariki horse-drawn Taxi adds a new dimension to the Wai ariki Farm Park experience. We cater for children's birthday parties, weddings and any other private functions.

We have a fully licensed Cafe where delicious homemade food is prepared and served. Why not try our famous cheese platters in the sun on the deck?

Our Gallery has many little treasures as gifts or souvenirs. The perfect place to relax and paint bisque when the weather is not so great too.
