Wilderness Lodge, Arthur's Pass & Lake MoerakiNew Zealand's only two Wilderness Lodges offer the opportunity to explore the wilderness at your own pace. Join guided adventures to discover seacoast, rainforest, mountains, rivers and wildlife. Discover moss carpeted beech forest, canoeing, walking, mountain flowers, kea parrots & waterfalls. Enjoy our high country farm featuring merino sheep blade shearing & sheepdog displays every second day. Our nature guides will introduce you to Southern Alps ecology and even some practical nature protection projects helping to save birds, rare plants, lakes & rivers.

Radiating from the Lodge is a network of rainforest and Tasman seacoast walks. Explore New Zealand's wildest coastline, discover gemstones and waterfalls. Take a scenic kayak or canoe trip on Lake Moeraki and Moeraki River. Join one of our guided Wilderness Seacoast Walks or Wilderness Kayak Safaris. Let our guides introduce you to Fiordland Crested penguins, NZ fur seals & native birds of this area.
