Situated 10 minutes from the village with its sweeping views across the Hanmer Basin and surrounding mountains, the Lodge offers 23 luxurious suites. From 60sqm to 80sqm in size, your Suite enjoys a Super King Bed, flat screen TV, gas fire and private terrace. Some Suites have their own spa pool on the terrace.

Most rooms have good views and all bathrooms offer a double spa bath and double shower.

Enjoy fine a la carte dining in Altitude Restaurant or a relaxing spa treatment in Spa Braemar.

Complete and utter relaxation! We had a wonderful night at Select Breamer Lodge. On arrival we were shown to our suite, with everything explained - and what a nice surprise to get a free upgrade. It is a few minutes drive out of Hanmer itself but VERY worth the extra drive. Breamer is a real couples retreat and with only 24 suites you are assured a private and restful escape. The food is amazing and breakfast a "must". We can't wait to return!

We booked via the web and were initially surprised to find the lodge is a few kilometers out of town. The staff showed us around and it took very little to convince us that it was the perfect spot. The rooms and facilities were wonderful, the dinner was superb and the staff are very friendly/helpful. We would happily stay here again on our next visit and would recommend it to others.

We had a wonderful stay at Braemar Lodge. When thinking about how the room was appointed, the word luxury springs to mind. The staff worked really hard to satisfy any request we had and were always polite, friendly and courteous. We would have no problem in recommending Braemar Lodge to anyone who wants an extra special getaway.
